RDS-in-Flight: The 30-year history of the EDUBASE collection. In-Person
Monday 15 October’s RDS-in-Flight session will explore the processes behind making the EDUBASE collection – a thirty-year-old bibliographic record of resources on education for Black South Africans – public via the ZivaHub platform. We’ll be exploring the history of the EDUBASE collection, the transformation in physical storage media (database – floppy disk – stiffy disk – CD-ROM – flashdrive – ZivaHub) and the file format transformation needed to make the collection public.
