Jagger Salvage Operation - May 11 - Session 02 In-Person
We are looking for volunteers to assist with the rewrapping of material from the Jagger Library. Volunteers need to be meticulous, pay attention to details, work in a team, work speedily but correctly. Volunteers should also be able to lift crates.
- Note that this is a completely volunteer position and has no paid remuneration.
- As we are working on building site, no minors are permitted.
- Report to the area by the white tent opposite Sarah Baartman Hall promptly for a briefing.
- Parking is available on campus.
- Please show your confirmation and/or reminder email to security.
- It is essential that you wear sturdy closed shoes as we are working on a construction site.
- Things to bring:
- a pen;
- gloves if you have them;
- Please follow COVID protocols
- Please do not come if
- you have any symptoms, however mild, that could be possible covid. You could be putting others at risk
- you have had contact in the past 10 days with anyone with confirmed covid or who has possible covid symptoms. If in any doubt, call your doctor or the provincial hotline to check
- Please do not come if
- We will be providing you with hard hats. Your hard hats will be sanitised before wear. Please return your hard hats before you leave.
